About The Book
This edition is tailored to the needs of students and those in work fields of pharmacy needing concise information. The questions at the end of the book have also been changed to the objective form.
In the list of gratitude foremost is the legendary Professor M.L. Schroff who was the perceptor of the need of such a book and who since 1955 constantly inspired me
to do so. To Late Prof. G.P. Srivastava tributes can never be adequately paid since his contributions are too numerous to record. Late K.J. John, Advocate of
Calcutta High Court critically examined, the scripts of the first and some later editions to whom author has to say thanks. The students can never be forgotten since
their inputs in the form of intellectual questions since 1950 have all along been very inspiring.
