With more than 5000 therapy centres and clinics offering Ayurvedic therapies to consumers and patients, there is a need for providing guidance on how to administer these therapies. Detailed stepwise Common Working Procedures have been written for 29 such therapies covering from the initial step where a consumer/ patient walks into a centre, examined by the Vaidya till the consumer/ patient goes back home having been treated.

The book consists of a short-term course for background theory and practical aspects needed for therapist, and quaffing therapist for performing different easy and difficult to apply therapies. The book provides detailed guidance on location, layout, business aspects, specifications and descriptions of equipment’s, utensils and apparatus needed at such centres and clinics.

A deep insight into research carried out on these therapies as published in peer reviewed scientific journals, as well as post graduate research leading to MD/ PhD in Ayurveda conducted over past 70 years in India forms an important part of this book that helps remove misconceptions that no research has been carried out in this area”.
