About The Book
This book is an extension of the earlier book laboratory Manual of Pharmaceutics, published in 2006. The applications of Pharmacy knowledge are included in prescriptions, monographs, packing, dispensing, etc. Hence, preparing acceptable formulations is a science. This edition is tailored to meet the practical needs of B. Pharmacy, first-semester and 3rd year Pharm D students.
The formulation and manufacturing aspects are described, along with the principles. This book attempts to bring all the relevant experiments at one place and maintain familiarity and readability.
Special emphasis is maintained on the lines of expectations.
1. Concepts and principles are applied to the pharmacy.
2. Model calculations in processing the raw data independently.
3. Illustrations facilitate organizing one’s laboratory work cohesively.
4. A question bank is included for guiding the student to perform viva voce well.
